Do you provide on-site service or do I need to bring you my machine?
We primarily service equipment on-site, but can perform repairs off site in some cases. Larger jobs such as machine overhauls are typically best performed off site.
How often should I get my coffee equipment serviced?
This can vary by make and model of the equipment. The majority of commercial espresso equipment runs best when serviced at least twice a year. Depending on the amount of use your equipment gets it may require more service. You can also refer to your equipment manufacturers suggested maintenance intervals.
Water filtration service intervals will be dependent on the source water quality and water consumption volume. A properly sized reverse osmosis system will typically need filter replacements every 6 months. If you need filters more frequently you may need to look at upgrading parts of your system.
Can you set up a regular maintenance schedule for my cafe?
Yes! Planning for regular maintenance is a crucial step to setting up new equipment. We will often discuss these plans with you prior to the installation of your equipment.
Do you offer a warranty for the service and equipment you sell?
Yes!
For repairs and maintenance we offer a 60 day parts and labour warranty. This only applies to specific work we completed. Damage due to improper water filtration, misuse, or electrical anomalies are not covered under warranty.
New equipment is covered by the manufacturers warranty. We typically will perform any warranty service that is covered by the manufacturer. Preventative Maintenance is not covered under a manufacturers warranty.
Reverse Osmosis Systems we build are covered by a 12 month parts and labour warranty. Consumable components such as filters or membranes are not covered under warranty.
What are your rates for installing equipment?
If you purchase a commercial espresso machine or commercial reverse osmosis system through us installation is included.
Our standard rates apply if you want us to install equipment you already purchased.
Do you offer consulting for new or existing cafes?
Yes! We offer consulting for both new and existing cafes, covering everything from selecting equipment and building a strong coffee program to workflow optimization and operational challenges. We can even help you choose a roaster to partner with.
